We believe that every church is responsible to fulfill the Great Compassion and the Great Commission.
At Journey Church International we plan to fulfill the Great Compassion (Mt. 25:31-46) by connecting with and supporting local ministry partners who exist in our community to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit those imprisoned, and help hurting people. We plan to give resources, people, time, and money to effective local ministries so that their mission is carried out in Jackson and Cass Counties.
We also believe that God has called us to be a church that fulfills the Great Commission (Mt. 28:19-20) by ministering weekly on every populated continent in the world through International Church Planting and ministry efforts. Our prayer is that through the giving and influence of the partners of Journey Church International that our church will FOUND, FUND, and FACILITATE ministry internationally in unreached or little-reached parts of our world. Pray that God may lead our church to ministry partners and opportunities around the world to develop passionate Christians that will serve to reach out to the lost and hurting people of their communities with the love of Jesus.

Coldwater’s No Hungry Kids is helping provide over 500 Lee’s Summit children in low-income housing with sack lunches every week. Plus, Coldwater's No Hungry Kids continues to be a funding and community partner with Harvesters to bring the BackSnack program to Lee's Summit elementary schools. Currently, 190 children are being fed weekly through the BackSnack program.
India—Invisible Girl Project

Invisible Girl Project (IGP) exists to help people see the invisible girl. The mission of IGP is to combat sex determination abortion, the murder of little girls once they are born, and other crimes against girls in India. We support existing organizations and indigenous people that are working to rescue and care for unborn, newborn, and young girls, as well as striving to change the perceived value of females in Indian culture.

Millions of people throughout the world lack basic human needs, including the message of HOPE through Jesus Christ. W.O.E. uses a unique approach combining transportation along with humanitarian aid to bring relief, hope and change to the African communities.

H.O.H. works to help give orphans a future and a hope and helps feed, clothe, educate, love, obtain medical services and train these children to reach their highest abilities. We will strive to connect them with their families and/or job, to place them in the community. Our ultimate goal is to reach these children for Christ. Through House of Hope, we plan to connect these children with the community and to offer many activities for the local community as well.
