What is a “Worship” Service?
Our "Worship Service” is a full Sunday morning church service that has everything that a normal Sunday morning church service has, including:
- A fully functioning nursery (babies 6 wks – thru 3 year-old).
- Preschool Ministry (Pre-K and Kindergarten Children).
- Children’s Ministry (1st Grade – 6th Grade).
- A band that will lead people in 3 contemporary worship songs.
- A sermon that will teach you a section of the Bible and how to apply it to your life.
What is the “Culture” Like?
We have families and singles of all ages that will be at our church. Our atmosphere and dress are casual, but you can wear whatever you want. From shorts and a t-shirt to a 3-piece suit, wear what is comfortable for you (our Pastor will usually wear jeans and a dress shirt). Our people are friendly on purpose, hoping that you feel welcome. Coffee, drinks and donuts will be available for you and your family for no charge so come early enough to eat and make some new friends in our “Journey Café” area.
How long will the service last?
The service is designed to last 65-70 minutes, and we try hard to stay on time!
What will the sermon be like?
Our Pastor is a Bible teacher that is highly personable, laid back, and down to earth. You will learn something from the Bible in every sermon. You will probably laugh during every sermon, and you will be told how you can begin a relationship with Jesus that will change your life, or how you can take your Christian life to the next level spiritually. You will not be “preached at”, but you will be “preached to”, and we hope it is an enjoyable time for you.
What will the music be like?
Our music is the type of contemporary Christian music and worship songs that you would hear on a Christian radio station. It will be louder than most churches you may have been to, but it will not be overbearing to you. The songs will be easy to learn and sing along to, and you’ll find yourself tapping your foot to a good rhythm, even if you don’t sing.
